Hollie was born in Kankakee, Illinois to Hollis Duane Ely and Magdalene Iolene (Flowers) Ely on November 23, 1944.

Hollie attended High School in Newport, Tennessee and graduated from Lockport H.S., in Lockport, Illinois.

Hollie worked as Bank Executive Secretary in Joliet, Illinois and Office Management at UIC in Rockdale, Illinois. She relocated to the greater Phoenix area in 2005, working at two different HOA companies until she retired.

Hollie is preceded in death by her parents. Husband Raymond F. Crompton passed away June 1, 1983.

Hollie is survived by her Children Keith Raymond Crompton, Rhea K. (Crompton) Stewart, and Stephanie Rae (Crompton) Batozech; Brother Herbert D. Ely (Joann Ely); Grandchildren Zach Bretz, Samuel Terlep, Molly Batozech.
