Steven Groseclose

Obituary of Steven Wayne Groseclose

A tragic accident took the life of Steven Wayne Groseclose on the evening of May 21, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona.  Steven was born on March 31, 1969, in Phoenix, Arizona.  Steven loved Phoenix, and never wanted to live anywhere but Phoenix.  An alumnus of Madison Middle School, and North High School, he will be missed by family, life-long friends, and business acquaintances.  In earlier times, Steven loved to drive his dune-buggy with family and friends on the week-ends.  His passion for cars began early in life and ultimately grew into his owning his own automotive business for over a decade.  The only thing that surpassed Steven’s passion for all things cars was his love of family, and their love for him through thick and thin.  He was with us for 53 years, 1 month, and 22 days, with the hope of a full life ahead of him.  He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Wayne Groseclose.  Steven leaves behind his son, Ethan Wayne Groseclose of Phoenix, Arizona; Ethan’s mother, Gail E. Figueroa of Phoenix; his mother Anna L. Fahy and step-father Michael P. Fahy of El Paso, Texas; his sister Lisa M. Feinblatt (Eric) of Tavares, Florida; three brothers:  David L. (Groseclose) Wilson (Valerie) of Edgewood, Maryland; Michael S. Groseclose of Jordan, Minnesota; Scott C. Groseclose (Lindsay), of Flower Mound, Texas; and, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

A Celebration of Life will be announced later.

The family request that in lieu of cards or flowers that a contribution be made to a homeless shelter or a food bank in Steven’s name.
