Marilyn Bogart

Obituary of Marilyn Elaine Bogart

Marilyn Elaine (Trimble) Bogart left us on Jan 27th and took her place along family members in heaven. Born in Phoenix, they moved to Tempe, where in her teens she gained the attention of the popular women’s softball league of the time and played all over the state with women up to twice her age. She graduated Tempe High School and attended ASU, before a chance meeting with high school friend Mark Bogart led to a successful second marriage for both on 8/6/1976. Marilyn worked at the Student Book Center on the edge of ASU campus for 26 years before retiring after helping countless students and coworkers. She is survived by her husband Mark Bogart, brothers Richard and Douglas Trimble and many cousins across the state and country. Memorial services will be announced in the spring.
