Obituary of Rebecca Hackney

Rebecca Hackney,81, formerly of Lapeer, MI passed away on February 18^th, 2022, in Apache Junction, Az.

Becky was born in Wilmington, Ohio to Vivian and William Fealy on March 29,1940. She went to high school at Wilmington High School. She married Roger A. Hackney on July 26,1958 in Wilmington, Ohio. She worked tirelessly as a wife, mother, and homemaker. Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Vivian, and William Fealy. Becky is survived by her devoted husband,  Roger, and children Liz (Tom) Bolen, Peggy(Tom) Hanley, Roger Jr., Sue(Pete) Neumeyer; sister Barbara Reno, Grandchildren Megan, Christopher, Kerri, Corey, Katy, Andrea, Eric, Jeff, Stephen, Paul, Lydia and Emily and greatgrandchildren Oliver, Isaiah, Luke, Arlin and Charlotte.

Mass of Christian burial will take place at a future time in Michigan, with her grandson, Fr. Jeff Hanley officiating. Burial will follow at Cavalry Commentary in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
