Obituary of Janet Gill
As I sit in Heaven and watch you every day I try and let you know with signs, I never went away.
I hear you when you are laughing and I watch you as you sleep, I even place my arms around you, to calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days away begging to have you home, so I try and send you signs, so you know you’re not alone.
Don’t feel guilty that you have life. Don’t feel sad for me, Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see.
So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free. Then I’ll know with each breath you take, you’ll be taking one for me.
Janet Spriggs Gill was born in Coalville, Utah to Elwood and Edna Spriggs on August 19, 1943. She went to North Summit High School. She worked for the Utah State Tax Commission for a number of years and loved spending time with her 3 daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Mom gave a new and deeper meaning to devotion by dedicating her whole life to her family, especially her 3 girls. She had a smile that would light up the room, and never missed an opportunity to provide wisdom and advice, even if you didn’t want it.
Janet is survived by her three Daughters, Jalanna(Stacey) Baker, Jamie Gill, Adrianne Gill. Her sister Vernett Jones, 9 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her Parents, Elwood and Edna Spriggs, and her brother LeRoy Spriggs.
We have chosen to celebrate Mom’s life by taking her on adventures to places she had never gone and wanted to see.
We miss you Mom, and look forward to taking you with us on our journeys....until we see you again. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Janet Gill, please visit Tribute Store
