Obituary of Jeb D Earl
On Saturday, May 1, 2021, Jeb D Earl, age 50, returned to his heavenly home after a valiant battle with lung cancer.
Jeb was born on May 14, 1970, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Floranel and Lee Earl. He is survived by his wife, Sulesha, his four children Jacob, Hyrum (Molly), Sarah (Seth), and Samuel; his four additional children Kaitlyn, Kylie, Madison (Colton), and Tanner; and two grandchildren, Dean and Amara. He is also survived by his sister Eleecia, his aunt Diana and uncle Richard, and many cousins.
Jeb loved with his whole heart, and his family was very dear to him, especially his wife, children, and grandchildren. He spoke fondly of his grandparents and parents who preceded him in death, and often talked about many fun childhood memories of Christmases spent with cousins and learning to work on the Heward Ranch. As a teenager he enjoyed going to scout camp and earned his Eagle Scout with the help of his Dad and his Uncle Richard.
Jeb loved the Lord. He served a faithful mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Edinburgh, Scotland, and left part of his heart there. His mission was a highlight in his life, and he especially loved his mission president and wife. He had the dream of returning there, which was to be our 10-year anniversary vacation. Even in his last week on Earth when he was suffering greatly, he continued to honor his Priesthood by administering to our daughter, Kylie, in her times of need.
Jeb was such a gentleman. He made sure our home had fresh flowers every month, that we went on a date every week, and that I never opened a door. Every year we went on a combined birthday/anniversary trip to explore a new part of the world.
Jeb loved to learn. He completed a bachelor degree in graphic arts and shared his love of learning by teaching art at Eastern Arizona College. He also loved and collected old books.
Jeb loved to laugh and have fun. He loved performing magic, playing jokes, taking pictures, and going on vacation. Some of his favorite places to visit were Russia, the Caribbean, and Maui, Hawaii. However, his favorite thing was to spend time with his family. The visits with his children and grandchildren in the past year were very precious to him. He will be deeply missed.
2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith,”
The family has chosen to have a private service, the date of which is yet to be determined.
