Brandon Scott Smith, 51, of Phoenix, tragically passed away on March 21, 2021.
Scott was born on February 9, 1970 to Tom and Minia Smith in Pasadena, Tx. He was a fun spirited kid that always thought outside the box. In his youth, Scott excelled in sports with his favorite being track and field and BMX bike racing. He attended Ball High school and graduated from Montgomery High school. Scott made many close friends that he loved dearly. He went on to attend Blinn College -Brenham, Tx where he received his masters in partying. He pursued various work journeys until he found his passion in sales and fitness coaching.
Scott eventually met the woman that he would fall in love with, marry and have his only child with. His pride and joy, Abigail Minia Smith, was born in 2006. She was his everything. In fact, just a few weeks ago, Scott stated, "I'm her hero and I'll ALWAYS be her hero." He held true to that statement to the very end. His legend grows even greater in death as he will forever be a legend in our hearts for his act of heroism the day he passed.
Scott was many things... super smart, sweet, big hearted, protective, funny, loving, fearless, a fighter and so much more. But, most of all, he was anything but ordinary. His wit and silly sense of humor was responsible for many peoples' smiles and laughter. For those of you lucky enough to have met him, you would know that Scott was nothing short of incredible! Because of all that he had been through, he had us all convinced he was truly invinsible. His life made such an impact on so many and so will his death. He told the most captivating stories and now it's HIS STORY that is MOST captivating of all!
Although Scott met many challenges with his health and marriage, it was his strength and faith that carried him through. Regardless of all the trials and tribulations thrown his way, he continued to be committed to his marriage as he highly valued his sacred vows of ”until death do us part." But just because Scott died, it doesn't mean he's dead. The world will definitely know who he was.
We got this, Scott! So go on, take flight and explore the skies with the wind beneath your wings.
