Obituary of Betty June Witt

Betty June Witt, 75 of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully on January 21st, 2021 at home.

Betty was born in Bury St. Edmund, England to Roland and Queenie Downs on June 19th, 1945. She graduated from Waterson College in 1985. She worked for many years in the travel industry and was a proud employee of Southwest Airlines. Betty loved to travel and enjoyed visiting her family in England. She loved hummingbirds, Native American culture, garage sales, and playing bingo at Gila Rivers Lone Butte casino.

Betty is proceeded in death by her father, Roland Downs, mother, Queenie Downs, and brother, John (Buddy) Downs.

Betty is survived by three children and their spouses, siblings, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her children are daughter, Christine Green and husband Christopher Green, son, Tommy L. Witt, and daughter, Patricia Witt-Sampson. Her siblings: sister, Sharon Holder and brother, Glenn Downs. Her four grandchildren and their spouses; grandson, Martele Napper and his wife Eden, granddaughter, Amber Napper, granddaughter, Kelsey Pyle, and grandson, Zachary Sampson. Five great- grandchildren great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Pyle, great- grandson, Maddox Napper, great-grandson, Liam Pyle, great-grandson, Colt Montgomery, and great-grandson, Maverick Napper.
