Jerry Preston

John Jerome Preston (Jerry), age 70, was born and raised in Homewood, Illinois, lived in Barrington, Illinois and Mesa, Arizona, passed away June 21, 2021, in his home surrounded by his family. He was a respected Salesman, loving husband to Priscilla, and father to Jason and (Nicole) Mills and Casino. Twin brother to Mary Vink (Terri) and brother to Jackie O’Rourke and Judy (Gary) Marchand. Treasured Uncle to Ashley (Josh) Dobstaff, Brett Vink, Brian (Trisha) O’Rourke, Katie O’Rourke (Brad) Campbell, Jan (Terry) Imergoot, Yvonne Reynolds, Todd (Jaime) Marchand, Chad (Tisha) Marchand. Admired great uncle to Bryce Dobstaff, Kadynce Dobstaff, Tori Reynolds, Jamison Marchand, Kellen Marchand, Gavin Marchand, Quinn O’Rourke, Kieran Campbell, Johnny Kelly, and Reagan Imergoot. Loving grandfather to Caden Mills. They brought him joy—devoted son of the late John and Mary Prystalski. 

Jerry left an indelible mark on his family as a husband, father, brother, uncle, great uncle, and grandfather. He touched their lives with love, respect, humor, commitment, presence and was never at a loss for words. He had a love for Elvis, corvettes, dogs, fitness, and enjoyed his routines. If you needed Jerry, he would be there no matter what. A friend to many, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
